Project Description

Divide is a outdoor adventure company/community that provides gear and expeditions for people with adventurous lifestyles.

I have an exact vision of how I want my company website to look and function. I want 4 Pages that are clickable off the home page including the home page itself: The Home button,"Gear", "camp divide", "The mission". I have a good overall understanding of website design/function I just don't know coding that well. First I need a simple clean homepage that will be displaying a promotion for first time visitors.. Once a user clicks the promotion or clicks sign in/register(in the top right corner) I want them to be able to login easily with facebook gmail etc. Our company will then offer them a promotional 3$ tshirt in thanks for signing up.

Next Under "Gear" I need a simple clean online store that will be very accessible because we will be selling on amazon aswell as through the store

The cool part of this website is Under "camp divide". Camp divide will be a mini social network themed like a campsite. Once a logged in user clicks this, they will be able able to access and post things in a facebook/youtube hybrid kind of style where everyone on the site can view it and share pictures and videos as well as be able to register for expeditions. Id like camp divide to be able to track number of posts like media and videos as well as their registration for expeditions because that will unlock custom and discounted gear for active members of our community. I'm very open and interested in your input on how this can be setup. I'm looking for the best marketability possible so i want it very connectable with the foundation laid in place for things to go viral.

Lastly A simple page with our mission on it.

At this point in time, I'm not worried about the graphical design side of this project too much more of the functionality. Id like to develop a long lasting relationship with the developer because I plan on constantly tweaking and changing things as we move along and grow.

Final note: Id like you to have tons of fun and freedom while working on this project. I'm open to all ideas that makes sense. I am very passionate about this idea and would like you to be too. If youre a little foggy about how some areas of this will come together I can explain deeper/draw diagrams or layouts or do whatever will help you.

Thank You!
