Project Description

1. SPECIFICATION FOR WEBSITE:
Northwest Baby Boomer Society

2. OVERVIEW OF WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be built as a static website (no CMS)
- Must have cross-browser compatibility (Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari, Opera).
- Must validate to W3C specifications.

3. STYLE AND LAYOUT
This is a hobby website. It's meant to be intended for hobbyists of ALL ages. This website will have a couple resource pages, but the rest will be for different types of hobbies. It's members do things such as Traveling, Horticulture, getting active(hiking, golf etc.), computers, photography, video games, automotive, painting, music, coin collecting, stamp collecting, knitting, scrapbooking, quilting and everything in between.

The images should be baby boomer aged people as well as people of all ages doing hobbies and looking like they are enjoying themselves. Also I want it to look like an actual online club with no real basis of membership and an official logo to make it look more reputable as well.

I would like the website to be based off of a design similar to [url removed, login to view] and maybe [url removed, login to view] minus the edgy modern colors and graphics.

4. COMMON PAGE ELEMENTS:
- Header: The header should have a logo for the Northwest Baby Boomer Society along with the tagline "Founded by Baby Boomers, Intended for all!".
- Navigation: Navigation will include links to all pages listed below below under "4. LIST OF PAGES". It should be obvious which page the user is on in the navigation.
- Footer: A typical footer should be included. If you use any creative commons images that need credit, this credit can be included in the footer. Do not include a copyright date in the footer.

5. IMAGE CONTENT
Feel free to include images as it fits the layout and theme. You may also include images as you feel appropriate throughout the site. When choosing images, be sure to use images with the appropriate permissions/copyrights, such as Creative Commons images. Do not use stock images with watermarks. If you need to give credit for any images, you can place this in the footer.

6. TEXT CONTENT
The text content that will be on the pages of this website is not yet available. For the purposes of designing and building this website, please use basic dummy text where the content should be (“Lorem ipsum dolor...” etcetera). Please style the text to show common styles (bold, italic, lists, headings, blockquote, etc.)

7. LIST OF PAGES
Site has 10 pages, including the homepage:
- Homepage
- Baby Boomers
- Resources (general hobby resources)
- Crafts (painting, knitting, scrapbooking, quilting)
- Collecting (antiques, coins, stamps, memorabilia)
- Getting Active (hiking, golfing, fishing, sports)

8. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
