Project Description

Fog + Foundry is building a narrative around craftsmen and designers in US communities. We're interested in telling stories - about unique products and the people who make them - and we're interested in using those stories to create a new retail experience.

We're currently live on Shopify and posting regular articles. Over the next 8-10 weeks we will add a retail storefront and that's where you come in. We're looking for designers and developers to help execute the following phases (as one or as multiple projects):

1. Branding: we contracted an agency to design and implement our blog template. We'd like you to build on their work to create an expanded and more defined brand identity for the Fog + Foundry retail experience.
2. Web design: we need the site UI defined and the template designed. The site will consist of the following page templates -
a. Site template - global header, footer
b. Three separate collection templates
c. Product page - no unique coding required for our product type but we want a customized product page that offers more space for text, image and video.
d. Shopping cart
e. Home page
3. Code implemented: once the site is designed, we need the code implemented (Liquid). If you're a web designer who doesn't code, that's fine. We can source this phase of the project elsewhere.
