Project Description

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer/Front End Developer to overhaul the design of our website. [url removed, login to view]
This CSS should be used as a base to allow the current site to be restyled without changing the markup of the site with two exceptions:
- new home page will require new HTML markup
- the new headers and footer will require HTML markup

Some points to note:
NO FLASH! No Templates or one size fits all design programs.
We will require the new CSS to be responsive, and render completely differently on mobile devices with the option to view the desktop version if selected.

Desktop CSS:

We are looking for a fresh new look and feel for the site.
We require the homepage to be redesigned completely and to be targeted at users looking for a trade provider in their area, NOT to trade providers looking to advertise with our company, which we have currently. A home page with a similar look and feel to this is what we are chasing: [url removed, login to view]

We will provide you with high res logo’s etc, the rest of the design is up to you.

You will be responsible for providing the CSS and a hardcoded HTML prototype, our developer will be responsible for inserting the CSS and new HTML markup into our live site.

We require two new page headers, one which will be used for our static pages like home, about, advertise, contact etc. And a different header for the search pages such as this page: [url removed, login to view] These search pages are not to have the header containing links to home, about, advertise etc at all, instead we require a slim search function to appear at the top followed closely by the two advertisements. Links to the home, about, advertise etc pages will appear in the bottom redesigned footer where “©2012 The Trusted Group | All Rights Reserved | Terms & Conditions” appears currently.

Search function on this site will be updated so it functions similar to that of [url removed, login to view] with an “open Search” using two text input fields, with trade in one text input, and area (suburb or region) in the other text input.

We currently have 5 Templates for the entire site which are as follows:
Our Home Page: [url removed, login to view]
Our Static Pages for example: [url removed, login to view]
Our Search Pages: [url removed, login to view]
Our Client Pages: [url removed, login to view]
Our Region Pages: [url removed, login to view]

You will notice that all pages have a very similar style, with only MINIMAL differences.

Mobile CSS:
We don’t currently have a mobile CSS and we are looking for something very similar to: [url removed, login to view]
Home Page should just have the search function with “Popular Searches” below similar to the example above.
About, Adverise, FAQ, Testimonials, Partner and Contact all similar to that of Desktop
Search pages:
No images to load for advertisements
Simply need to show business name, Suburb, trade category, small description and contact numbers which will be hyper-linkable (Click to Call) VERY SIMILAR TO THE MOBILE EXAMPLE GIVEN.

There will only ever be a maximum of 2 advertisers, they are to appear one on top of the other similar to the example mobile website above. A small search function to appear above the two advertisers. All information to render above the fold (eg. on iphone 4). If the device is turned to the side, the advertisers are to appear side by side.

Deliverables:
- New responsive CSS file using the current CSS file as a base
- Hardcoded HTML protoype for new Home Page with responsive CSS for mobile devices
- Hardcoded HTML prototype of content page (ie about) with new header and footer with responsive CSS for mobile devices
- Hardcoded HTML prototype of search page with new header and footer with responsive CSS for mobile devices
- Hardcoded HTML prototype of search results page demonstrating responsive CSS for mobile devices
