Project Description

Please read the following project description and respond to the specific requests. Generalized submissions of price lists, without indication that you actually read the following, will be discarded. Thank you.

We have a website ([url removed, login to view]) that is not search engine friendly, so before we embark on a basic SEO program, we need to rebuild the site in a more search engine friendly design.

We are an architectural design firm, so the site must be very clean and professional, not template-looking. And our image portfolio is the majority of the content, so that is where most of the emphasis should be placed. We used a freelancer to build this site for us just three years ago, and we were not specific or inquisitive about anything other than the aesthetics, and as a result, we have an obsolete site (from and SEO perspective) in less than three years. We don't want to make the same mistake, so please include in your bid a description of the strategy you would suggest so that we are prepared for the future, so that we are doing ongoing SEO in three years instead of rebuilding the entire site.

Please look at [url removed, login to view] and include the following in your bid to redesign the site:

-- basic strategy for a redesign that will yield a better SEO-able site than we currently have
-- general comments about suggested improvements to graphic design (we don't hate our graphics, but they are stale and we'd like to upgrade)
-- specific deliverables for the website redesign (just to keep things clear from the start -- what will you provide for the bid price)
-- programming platform/tools that will be used for the redesign

We will be using the same content for the redesign as is currently being used. We have a couple new projects that can be added to freshen it up. If the current site has elements that do not need to be improved, please suggest so. We don't need to pay to fix things that aren't broken.
