Project Description

I want an elegant, functional custom skin for a vbulletin 3.7 forum with blog and content management system.
It shall be no "game-skin", it shall be serious, quick to be "handled and read" even for older people who have not yet had much experience with a pc and the internet.
There exist suggestions for two logos - one for the starting page and a modified one for the "ingroup" users. Their color is black, red and white and they shall be "worked over" and it should be the only black, red and white colour within the website.
Some new buttons and smileys should be made and fit in accordance with some aspects of the logos.
The website is fixed with three columns of different width similar to the yahoo-website.
The background is of a misty wave-like turquoise.
On this background the modules of the cms, the forum and the blogs shall appear like pinboards with rounded corners everywhere and an identical design throughout. The turquoise background shall still flow round these pinboards.
The "pinboards" shall have only very very few or no "lines" or "strictly segregated" sectors at all. Instead they shall achieve the same aims of quickly leading the "readers" attention via various graded and "flowing" shades of grey starting with a deep grey in the left top corner and getting lighter up to the lightest point in the right bottom corner. The parts wih content (writing/pictures) within these pinboard module shall be on a contrasted background with a different "flow" of grey. (see attachment)
The skin shall therefore - with the exception of the buttons and the smilies - have no entertaining quality as so many other vbulletin skins but instad as much as possible functional and helpful features.

It shall make the impression of being "basically functional" and cleaned of all gimmicks and distracting items.
