Project Description

We are currently looking for a team that can help us build an e-commerce system for our clients.

Let me explain a little bit about our project. We work with indie filmmakers to help them gain access to larger audiences. Ideally we would like to be able to broadcast their films for them, but do so in a way that allows them to monetize their work. So we are looking for the following three components

1: Video that is controlled by three links "Buy" "Rent" "View Trailer" "Website". When a customer clicks on "buy" or "rent" an ecommerce page embedded within the video will open up and allow customers to enter their payment information. Once the payment is complete the customer will be able to watch the entire video in the player. If the customer clicks on "view trailer" a trailer for the film will play. If the customer clicks on "website" the visitor will be brought to the official website of the film. The hope is that the customer never needs to leave the video to make a payment. All payment happens through the video.

The video should also have "share" or "embbed" features on it as well.

The videos buttons and layout should also be designed in a way that it fits into the website theme (there is only one theme it needs to match). But the buttons, colors, fonts etc should integrate well into this design.

2: Back-end website to host videos and manage payments: We will allow filmmakers to upload their own films and documentaries by setting up a profile. They can set the own prices to their indie films and documentaries and monitor their sales in real time. They should also be able to manage their statistics "views" "buys" "rentals" "conversion rate" etc.

Every-time a filmmaker makes a sale we will split the profit with them 20%/ 80% with the majority going to the filmmaker. They should be able to monitor their sales and payment information in the back-end as well.

There are a couple of sites that do this now, but none that meet the design standards we are looking for.
