Hello,

I’m looking for help redesigning some aspects of a website at [url removed, login to view] There is currently a fixture and console guide listed on the site in the form of html pages. I wish to change this information into a database format with the following:

A new record form for fixtures which will display the same details currently shown via html pages eg vl2500spot including links, logos, pictures etc. the data of which is sourced from a newly created database.
This database needs to include new fields for manufacturer and type.
Also to be included a new link to display control channel information in a new window, and a direct download link to download the relevant user guide.
A new compare check box to compare records.

A new record form for consoles which will display the same details currently shown via html pages eg VistaT4 including links, logos, pictures etc. the data of which is sourced from a newly created database
This database needs to include new fields for manufacturer. Also to be included a new direct download link to download the relevant user guide.

A new search webpage to access these records via the following methods:
Freeform search entry box which calls up relevant records matched by keywords
Visitors should also be able to use drop down menus to refine search by fixture, console, manufacturer and type displaying a final drop down list of all relevant records
New filter checkboxes relating to the field names of the records to only include results based on criteria from the database, so that users can search by fixture, manufacturer, type, but only for records which have positive information for say iris, color mixing and strobe fields etc.
A new function to compare up to 5 records which have compare check boxes ticked.

The whole system need to be user maintainable so that I can edit records, add and remove new records, links and information etc.

I obviously need to know an idea of costs involved and timescales etc, although completion for this project is not urgent.
