Project Description

The purpose of this project is to develop an application that will help collaborate better communication between various emergency agencies in the same and neighboring territories via cell phone and a web based application.

For example, If the local Fire Dept gets dispatched to a run and may need need EMS. As soon as the Fire Dept. is dispatched, the agency communicator can put out a "pin" to all EMS agencies in the vicinity informing them about the run and letting them know that they may be needed to respond to the same run. So if the Fire Dept does request EMS, EMS is prepared and quicker to respond because they were informed of the possibility of the run in advance via a phone application..

Furthermore, the application should allow many authorized users to report incidents to subscribers and allow certain subscribers to post incidents as well.

The incidents should also be classified in various categories. For example, one subscriber may wish to only recieve notifications of EMS jobs. Or only confirmed serious incidents such as 3 alarm fires or greater etc.

The application should work similar to Google groups however,it should have a template, and variuos classifications and be an application available for mobile phones such as the iphone or blackberry. Please feel free to contact me in order to better understgand this project
