I Installed WordPress on my own VPS, purchased AVADA theme and created SFTP access to the site. I currently have 2 websites ([url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]) but want a single website that is more modern, robust, attractive and much more sophisticated — with a greater ability to promote my offerings, automate some of my business functions via more plugins and registration forms, and have a better use of virtual space. My websites are content-driven and although I like the accordion idea, I need to fit more things than I have now on my home page. Yet, I don't want my homepage look too crowded. It needs to look great and be user-friendly. I have written out what I need below and am open to considering other ways of how it can be laid-out in a way that is logical, clear and visually appealing. However, I ask not to do any work, updates, new designs, implementing new ideas prior to getting my ok on it. In creating this website, you need to know that I want to be able to manage and edit everything myself, including the menu, text in my ads, etc. -- as I do on my current sites through WordPress. So, sometimes, you’ll have to show me how to do some of the new things we implement (I will virtually video-record it as you demo it for me). Plugins I Need: • Plugins you see on my existing websites (see links above) -- unless they are already part of my new Avada theme. • Translation plugin • Membership Site plugin • Learning Online Classroom plugin (Learning Dash?) for self-directed online learning (even though I already use a moodle site for my courses) • Share buttons plugins Homepage Background Image It would be nice if I can rotate the photos / images for the Main Background — perhaps every month or so. I will provide different pictures. You’ll also need to show me how to change the back-ground pics on my own. [url removed, login to view] MENU (please make it more noticeable than on my current [url removed, login to view] site): 1.1 Upcoming Course Dates 1.2 Schedule of Current Classes (as in [url removed, login to view]) 1.3 GII Students (“GII Students Logon” box will be a logon to existing learning moodle site. 1.4 GII Alumni (will need 2 different logons: Resources & Membership) a) “Resources” — This logon will also take them to the learning moodle site, but into their special alumni portal. b) “Membership” — Here’s where a Membership plugin comes in. (more in the attached doc.) 1.5 Contact 2. HEADER SECTION Will consist of 4 elements: 2.1 Logo and branding statement (“Your Path to Coaching Mastery”) as it appears on the current [url removed, login to view] site 2.2 Welcome Video: A still image with VIDEO button which expands to approximately 1/3 of screen when visitor clicks, activating video. 2.3 Rotating Ad Utilize the slider that I have in my theme with overlay 2-6 rotating ads a few seconds each in ro-tation. NOTE: I need to be able to change the content of each frame, the number of frames that will go into rota-tion, and the length of time each frame is visible. (When indicated by >> in text, frames must be clickable / link to additional information on interior pages). I will also need to have a blog (the first sentence or so) on the home page, aWeber sign-up and other things. You need to be familiar and comfortable with pluggins that provide an ability to upload my forms, survey choices, etc. -- and the visitor agree and/or sign them. I'm running out of space to post here and I'm uploading everything I need in 2 attachments. If you can do only a part of this job, please send me a quote as well, specifically describing what you can do. PLEASE DON'T SEND ME MESSAGES WITHOUT READING THE ABOVE AND OPENING 2 ATTACHMENTS. It'll tell me that you don't care enough to even know what's really involved here and I want to work with someone who takes pride in what they do and cares to provide value.
