Front-end development is the implementation of web design, be it in look or feel. It involves developing HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for a website or an application in the web. Front-end developers are engaged in the analysis of codes, design, and debugging applications to ensure users are getting the best experience in the site or the app.
To be able to venture into front-end development requires, a few technical knowledge and skills are necessary. A front-end developer must know how to use web technologies like HTML and DOM. They must also be knowledgeable about CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Bulma, and frameworks such as React and Ember. Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS are also a requisite. Cross-browser development is also important as browsers’ standards differ when it comes to interpreting codes.
