Project Description

• Only Serious bidder bid on this project!

As a part of a research project, we are looking for an iPhone programmer who is experienced in developing GPS-based apps.
We are located in Brisbane and would prefer someone from Brisbane who can come to our office; however, other experts from across the world can apply as well.
The job:
We want to have an iPhone application for performing travel surveys. This application should have these sections:
1. Socio-economic questionnaire, which will be filled by the user when creates an account.
2. Tracking Process, where the user starts the process of tracking in the morning and finishes it at night. So the application has to record the GPS data of user locations regularly for a working day. Application should be designed in a way that user can use all functions of their mobile during the recording. Moreover, in order to save the battery usage, there should be an automatic switching between active tracking and significant change location service. (more details will be provided to the developer)
3. Travel Behaviour Reporting, where user will report their travel behaviour including the commencement and finishing time of each trip and also their mode of trip and purpose. (more details will be provided to the developer)
4. Uploading button, which uploads all collected data to a server.
In fact this application will be the revised version of “ATLAS Project” application which is on AppStore now. You can download it for free and become more familiar with what we want.

Programmer requirements:
Previous development experience in this area is essential, so kindly provide links/details of your previous related projects.

The elected programmer will be provided by:
• The details of ‘Tracking process’ and ‘Travel behaviour recording’ sections,
• The details of questionnaires,
• The code of the first version of ‘Atlas Project’ (needs to be discussed)

Note:
This cooperation could be continued and extended for some other projects, as this research project will have some other apps as well.
