Project Description

A plain iOS OpenGL ES 2.0 project with 2D parallax side scroll with five layers.

1. Uneven (random height wise) ground with stone texture with bump mapping.
2. Lightbulbs hanging at specific intervals.
3. Character with bump mapping.
4. Trees with bump mapping.
5. Brick wall background with bump mapping.

The bump mapping is based on the light coming from the lightbulbs. The character moves at a constant rate and the terrain updates accordingly. Also, the projection needs to be perspective, not orthographic.

The closest I can use as an example to help describe this, would be the Tiny Wings game: [url removed, login to view]
The only thing I'm interested in, is in the OpenGL ES 2.0 implementation, there's no game logic or high quality artistic assets required.
