We are a humble e-commerce marketing agency based in Toronto, Canada that started ~6-months ago. We have since grown to a small team of remote staff and freelancers around the world. We need a full-time remote Growth/Operations Manager to help manage everything and make sure everything runs smoothly. You must be willing to learn fast, and hustle to deliver a positive ROI for our team as fast as possible. We are always finding a way to be more faster to market than our competitors, and it is rarely easy. Right now our team currently consists of: -Founder (Canada; currently in charge of product research, Facebook advertising, company strategy) -1 customer service/product fulfillment person (Venezuela) -1 Facebook advertiser (Bulgaria) -Several freelance video editors, graphic designers (US, worldwide) THE ROLE: You will work closely with me to execute growth strategies using a variety of techniques (lean startup methodology). In your day-to-day, you will develop, oversee, and scale our operations using a variety of platforms and tools. You will also solve problems we come across each day. Your responsibilities will include the following: -Ensuring day-to-day tasks are completed smoothly (creating data reports, setting up software, writing posts on job boards, redact information form images, copy edit and post blog posts etc) -Hire, train and manage remote staff to help us -Document standard operating procedures and help create new ones -Analyze results, identify trends and insights -Work directly with the founder on various initiatives -Be a jack-of-all-trades and be willing to roll up your sleeves on whatever needs to be done that day REQUIREMENTS: This is the ideal role for someone ambitious and familiar with startup culture. -Fluent English -Start-up hustle/mindset (you know what an MVP is; you are hungry to get things done efficiently.) -Familiarity with some of the tools on this list (Google Analytics, Google Docs, Excel, Zapier, Shopify, Slack, Teamwork, Trello, Help Scout etc.) -Self-driven. (You have superior organizational skills; integrity and great follow through on tasks, even when multi-tasking. You don’t get overwhelmed easily.) -An eye for great design/content (to review deliverables from our freelancers)
