Hey! We are a cool team of people from Romania (see a picture of the team attached) that work in e-commerce and recently launched our business in Hungary, now working on expanding to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Croatia, so we're looking for a native of each of these countries to work part time or full time at [url removed, login to view] Main tasks will consist of adding products on the site, translating product descriptions, ad creatives and discuss with the customers and solving their problems (over the phone and e-mail). We want to have super happy customers, so we are looking for someone that is very positive and can transmit that positivity over to our customers. Working hours - preferably from 8:00 to 11-12:00 (are flexible to some extent). You can work even more if you wish to, but a minimum would be 2-3h a day to do the essential stuff. BUT if you don't like talking to people, you can work with us only for the translation part and for adding products on the site. This is how we work with the Hungarian team: we have one person to translate and add products on the site and one that does customer support. For start, we're just translating the sites and product descriptions then we'll move to customer support, so we'll have a lot more work in the beginning for these tasks. We will use Freelancer Desktop app. Requirements: You must be a dynamic and independent person, VERY ORGANIZED, hard working, having no problem working from home, capable of properly managing your own time. Past experience in e-commerce (Shopify/ customer support) is an advantage but not a requirement. For adding products on the site, some photo editing skills could come in handy. You will get a test (for which you'll get paid) for the beginning then we will decide on the best candidate. We are looking for talented professional translators for regular cooperation. You must hold a degree in Translation, Languages, or a specific discipline (e.g. Life sciences, Finance, etc) and have at least 3 years experience in your domain. Excellent language and translation skills, and a good writing style with accurate spelling and grammar are a must. You must be a CAT tools user and competent in at least one as most of the projects are done through CAT tools. Trados Studio is our preferred tool but we could accept files coming from other tools provided that the files pose no issues for further processing and you can directly handle Trados Studio files, either packages or sdlxliff files. Please do not bid if you cannot provide a rate per word for translation and proofreading, the tools you have and two samples of your past work. If you are not online here all day you need to be using an IM (most preferably Skype) so that we can confirm your immediate availability for the project at hand. It is important that we are aware of your general availability at all times as delivery within the same day or during weekends is not unusual. Some projects are really urgent and we would prefer not to split too much projects for consistency reasons. Finally, please mention the languages from which you can translate and the fields you specialize (it is very important to be more specific at this point, so either elaborate or paste the relevant part of your CV). We hire only native speakers, so we are looking for translators that translate only into their mother tongue. You need to have this in mind when mentioning language pairs and bidding.
