I think we should. - Use a Parker‑spec captured O‑ring and stainless fasteners with defined torque to control gasket compression and long‑term seal. - Add a hydrophobic vent (e.g., Gore) to equalize pressure and cut leak risk without hurting IP rating. Lets follow a plan like this. 1) I map requirements, size envelope, mounts, ports, and finalize IP68 test target. 2) I model the enclosure in SolidWorks with ribs, bosses, gasket groove, and DFM features to adress your process. 3) I run tolerance stack‑ups and quick FEA on gasket compression; then issue dimensioned drawings and BOM. 4) I draft an IP68 test plan and support prototype build; we iterate on fastener torque and gasket durometer as needed
