Project Description

We need HTML/CSS/jQuery implementation of the web application which uses Google Maps API. Main aim of the application is to provide to its users possibility to mark their visited cities/countries on the map, save it and compare with others. Application consists of three tabs: user profile, friend profile, and comparison.

User’s tab contains Google map with marked cities, drop-down list where user can select the cities to mark, and user details (name, picture, etc). Map should react on clicks and give the opportunity to mark the city nearby the click (by coordinates comparison).

Friends tab contains roughly similar things, but without possibility of modification.

Comparison contains two maps and comparison results.

We have PSD files with entire design, and sophisticated DB architecture with the XML interface (get cities, get cities by coordinates, get/save user data, and so on).

We need modern good looking interface looking similar to Twitter bootstrap. Please consider Twitter bootstrap for the project. We have detailed requirements specification.

While this brief is for a fixed contract, ideally we are looking for someone who would be interested in working with us to develop this project further in the future
