Summary: We are looking for talented application and web developer to convert a site which we will supply in HTML format to a language capable of adding various tools ([url removed, login to view] etc). We will require the tools to be developed by the Freelancer and complete the site as a finished product.
The site design, layout and copy text is complete. The tools need to be developed and added to the site:
Functionality required for the Freelancer to build:
1. User Registration
2. Tool to obtain price from AWS from a EAN or IPC, carry out formula and return an offer price. (We may consider site scraping to achieve this and bypass AWS if the results can be obtained without delay.)
3. To create order, add items to basket and complete order with unique order number and email and save results. To allow or disallow items based on set criteria throughout the order.
We already have tools that collect this data from Amazon using IPC and EAN numbers we use daily.
We buy mixed CD DVD and games media from the public and the website will allow users to sell their CDs DVDs and games to us by entering barcode numbers into the site. We provide valuations for their products once the user enters the EAN or IPC barcode numbers into the site.
The system will then use the EAN or IPC number to obtain live prices and product detail obtained from AWS and carry out a formula to create an offer price.
Example: Very Good Condition Price = [url removed, login to view] therefore, [url removed, login to view] – 60% = [url removed, login to view] Offer displayed to user.
Overall we need as much ability to edit once created as we possibly can. The formula used to calculate an offer price MUST be able to be edited at will be us at any time.
Create custom CMS so we must be able to edit text and images after site completion.
We have a more detailed breakdown of the site and the tools and processes required. We will supply this to any Freelancer BEFORE awarding the project.
We also have URL of a similar site to illustrate the system we are looking for.
We would expect to retain the developer for ongoing work maintaining and updating the site at regular intervals.
To all interested Freelancers:
Before we accept any bids and award the project to a Freelancer we expect prospective Freelancers to read the detail of the project and provide us in writing with how they will undertake the project, using what language and show past experience of other similar projects they have undertaken.
We expect to be able to discuss the detail of the project before awarding the job and will only award to a Freelancer willing to do this.
After the project is awarded to a successful bidder we will set milestones at specified points and only release them once each criteria is met and satisfied.
Milestone 1; The initial milestone will not exceed 15% of the total project bid.
The final milestone payment of 20% of the total project bid will only be released once the site is live and operating to our satisfaction as per the original project detail AND the details set in the communication prior to the project being awarded..
We will require the freelancer who is awarded the project to sign a non-disclosure agreement.Get free quotes for a project like this
