We have an existing mySQL database from an existing proprietary order management / ecommerce software system called Icode Everest. We are looking to re-create interfaces to our data via .NET web applications to eventually replace this application called 'everest'. Our Data Consist of Customers, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Items, Inventory, etc. We have existing .net objects and dll’s/stored procedures for order and customer management. We will require the use of these existing functions and/or the creation of new ones to facilitate our needs. Being that the general database schema is already created we need to work within its native structure, and expand from it. We are adequately able to explain the database schema.
We require a clean web design for the information flow that will allow for customization and future updates & customizations. When looking up large data sets such as item code numbers an intuitive interface should be available to avoid multiple page navigation for the selection of items, and searching generally, AJAX or similar. We will provide HTML markups that illustrate functionality & flow required.
The system will be used by multiple people simultaneously and must be capable of restricting users access. This project will require ongoing maintenance.
