Project Budget$30 - $250 USD
This is a project involving the development of a web-based application which organizes and displays information contained within a database. Basically, the user of the application must:
1. Be able to log in and use the application only after registration (that is, unauthorized users are not permitted to use the application)
2. Be able to search through several categories of data to find the name of a particular item
Once the user finds the name of the item that he or she is looking for, the application will return organized and categorized data regarding that item. By clicking on the headings of the displayed data, the user will also be able to then browse through some sub-categories of the data. All data within the database will be dynamic - in other words, it will be updated periodically, and the program should take that into account.
Please prepare a sample program with the attached sample data. Once the animal has been searched for, 3 basic pieces of information should be displayed:
Clicking on the Continent should display the countries, and clicking on the Diet should display the specific foods.
Please keep in mind that the database for this program will be housed separately in SQL - the application must be able to query the database and return ONLY the relevant information. Furthermore, there will be about 20,000 items in the database, with at least 100 pieces of information pertaining to each item - the program should be able to retrieve this information very rapidly.
Good luck bidding, and please do not forget to attach your completed sample with your bid.
