Project Description

simple web application to monitor vehicles( by using gps technology in mobile application).

i have already made the mobile application,its in android,sends the coordinates, speed and mobile serial number every 1 minute to the server(i will put the web application in hosting in internet)

the web application contains only one screen(which is the monitor panel screen):

contains the map and text box to find the vehicle on the map(vehicle ID).

the map displays the current vehicles with the information that it bring from mobile device(serial number,speed)

the map refreshes every 1 minute (put the refresh time in a variable so i can edit it later)

you should use this google map control: [url removed, login to view]

when user searches for a vehicle on map the system check if it is exists in the map, if yes then remove all markers of the other vehicles except the marker of founded vehicle. and there is a button called "display all current vehicles" this button re display the current vehicles

hint : may be you have to make xml file contains the current vehicles on map.

please dived the operations in functions.

i think you will need to make these functions:

public bool addAllVehicleToMap() // when the system receives data from mobile device for the first time

public bool updateVehicleOnMap(string gpsDeviceSerialNum, int speed, Location currentlocation) //updating the location of vehicle

public bool removeVehicleFromMap(string gpsDeviceSerialNum)

public bool removeAllVehiclesFromMap()//we use it inside the search operation(find vehicle)

public bool checkVehicleOnMap(string gpsDeviceSerialNum)//check if vehicle is exsits right now in the map
