microsoft .net coder, sql expert for some data manipulation / mining

Looking for .NET coder to develop a winform or wpf app. This is part 1 of multiple phases so we are looking for long term relationship and coder who is efficient in writing algorithms and compute large amount of data. Coder with technical analysis/stock market knowledge would be preferred but not necessary. The first phase is simply to look for stock prices that have declined/increased when other stocks have declined/increased. We will provide you with 5 year daily data for: -about 10,000 stocks: stock name, daily open/close/volume -20 stocks that you will use for comparison: stock name, daily open/close/volume You will compare and find max 100 stocks that have decreased as many times as each one of the 20 stocks decreased for the whole time period data is available for, in the last 1 year, in the last 3 months, in the last 1 month and in the last 5 days and in a range specified by user. Based on our choices, you will then aggregate the results and find common stock names. We will provide UI architecture to show you inputs and what the output should look like. For example we would want to know the common stocks when comparing to stock 1 and stock 20 - in the 1 year period; any common stocks when comparing to all 20 for full data range; any common stocks when compared to stock 1,5,17 and 20 in the last 3 months; any common stocks when compared to stock 11, 12 and 19 from X to Y date etc. When showing results, we will need to see stocks sorted by the number of times it met the criteria. Result page should show: stock name, # of days it met the criteria, % that it met the criteria, % stock decreased, % each of the stocks it was compared to decreased. Obviously the same logic will apply to stocks that increased. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
