Project Description

I need a simple Access database created with an ASP (or .NET) front end. The web interface needs to have an input form that is accessed by login and restricted to certain users. There needs to be a search function available to anyone but restricted to view only - should be searchable by any field. Certain users should be able to search and update and a higher level to seach, update, and delete (very restricive on top level).

The database will hold a medium sized IT inventory - servers, desktop PC's, wireless access points, laptops, etc and need to have a name, type, serialNumber, location, MACaddress, IPaddress and details (text) fields - only type and location would be required as some equipment does not have or require all the above. There also nees to be a status - 3 choices - 1)in use (working and deployed) 2)At repair 3)spare (working but not deployed). While the at repair option is selected there needs to be a repair update record permanently attached to that piece that allows a user to update details of why a piece was at repair, when it was sent and when it was returned, where it was sent for repair, and cost of repair - Cost would not be required - other fields will be.

I have a rough prototype Access database that may help a developer and will be glad to share that AFTER we have some agreement on the scope of the entire project - it is fairly close to what I need but too rough to deploy into production aas is and there is no ASP front end.

I also need to have every source file and the actual access database 100% editable. Any questions please post.

PLEASE post actual bids - no ridiculous low ball offers - I expect your bid to be what you are willing to COMPLETE the project for. Again, any questions ASK before you bid.

THank you for considering the project!
