You are a consultant being brought in by a small corporation, ABC Inc., to assist with developing the internal IP addressing scheme.


ABC has their headquarters in San Francisco and has the WAN links in place to their other two locations in the Houston and Denver. Your job is to develop the Classful IP addressing for all the hosts, assign the proper subnets, and assign IP address to all the network devices for the network topology diagram shown in Diagram 1. You are to write a paper to the upper management of ABC explaining the process that you went through in fulfilling this project’s requirements. ABC upper management are widget makers and sellers and have no idea from a subnet to a submarine. You will need to explain what an IP address is, what a subnet is, why we use subnets, and how you came about developing the IP addressing scheme for their firm.
