warning: code is in haxe, not actionScrip (haxe language was not in the list of [url removed, login to view], but haxe for flash has a similar API to actionScript, and it's quite easy... see this simple sample: [url removed, login to view])
I would like to fix the code of this web audio recorder (coded in haxe using some apis for flash):
[url removed, login to view]
for do the encoding to mp3 on the fly/real time. Right now the recorder do the encoding at the end of the recording, which can be frustrating for the user (for example for a 30 min recording, the encoding could take about 15 mins).
I do not know if that is techincally possible (see my question on stackoverflow: [url removed, login to view]). But finally I think it can be done. I think some approach of saving wav chunks every minute and then encoding to mp3, or something similar could be done.
