I need to extract the barcode numbers for products listed on an Amazon site.
I want a simple program that I can download & install on my computer, and run from the computer.
I need to be able to select the Amazon site (United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil, India or Mexico), and the program needs to trawl through the site and extract the barcode numbers for products (EAN or UPC). The barcode numbers for the products need to be extracted and saved into a csv. The program should have an effective way to go through the site, and find as many barcode numbers as possible (preferably the barcode number for every product listed). I need to be able to stop the program and restart it, and it should be able to continue searching from wherever it stopped. Also if it crashes, it needs to be able to be restarted where it stopped. (I don't want it to start again and extract numbers it has already found). (If I have to key in the last barcode number found, or something similar, that would be fine).
I don;t need any other information extracted - I just need the barcode number (not the Amazon ID number)
In your reply to this, please advise whether you can
- extract at least 90% of the barcode numbers from the site
- what speed you anticipate your program could run at (assuming reasonable computer and internet speed) without causing problems with Amazon (number of barcodes extracted per hour)
