Just so I have somethign to reference too lets call it tiptrakr.
In a perfect world this is what I am picturing for this program.
When I turn on my computer and click on the Tiptrakr icon on the desktop the program opens up to a simple line graph showing me the last 7 days tip inputs (income) & their total amount. Somewhere above, below or on the side of this line graph will be a bar graph showing me my progress towards my savings goals. And then somwhere above, below, or on the side of these two graphs there should be 3 buttons:
a button with a plus sign to add todays tips,
a button that says goals on it,
and a button that says expenses on it.
When I click on the Plus Sign button a small pop up window will display with 3 data fields. First field is the date which is automatically filled in for me, but it should be possible to change this date if for some reason I forgot to put in yesterdays tips. But I want it automatically filled in by default with whatever todays date is. Next data field is the amount of tips I made today. Next data field is the amount I tipped out to coworkers which also needs to be saved & tracked for tax purposes. Then a button at the bottom that says save or submit, or add entry to complete the process.
After clicking the expense button a small popup window would appear with 3 data fields. The date, the name, the amount. Everything that is entered through this button would be subtracted from my total tips entered.
After clicking on teh Goals button a small pop up window will display with 3 data fields. The name, the amount you want to save up to, and the amount you want to contribute to this goal.
The field for the amount you want to contribute should be able to have either a percentage or a dollar amount entered depending on what I prefer to do for that particular savings goal. Some may be dollar amounts and some may be % of my daily tips entered in depending on my preference.
Example Goal would look like this-
Goal - South America Trip
Contribute - 10%
Goal- New Skis
Amount - $500
This program should have the capability to have unlimited amounts of goals added.
And as each new tip entry is added/entered a simple bar graph displaying my progress towards taht goal should be dispalyed on the homescreen.
Thanks for looking & look forward to hopefully working with you.
When applying can you please tell me about how long you think this would take to create, and how much you it would cost either hourly or lump sum. Please also tell me what you plan on it looking like as far as appearance goes. I am a big fan of Orange & sleek modern so a silver/orange package would be right up my alley.
If you have any questions please don't hesistate as you can tell I am not a coder or programmer so maybe I forgot to cover something that would be necessary for you to make an adequate application.
P.S. At some point I would like to make this an app for my phone & tablet which my phone is apple, but tablet is android. I would really like a bid that would include a web app, apple app& android app estimates, but if I had to pick one I would prefer the desktop or webapp mode for now. Thank you again
