Project Description

This project is to develop Linux software and accompanying apps in both IOS and Android platform.

The Linux part will broadcast live view of the camera over wifi, the hardware platform is Saber Lite from boundary devices, the camera and its drivers are already working with some example code, the Linux hardware must be programmed such that it works as a wifi router and broadcasts directly to the smartphone or tablet device. Photos & videos are captured and stored in the Linux board's SD card based on the commands received from the accompanying apps of smartphone or tablet.

The accompanying apps in Android and IOS will function similarly, they will present a preview of the camera on the screen, and issue commands to the Linux board to capture photos and videos by reading the user's finger gestures such as tap, pinch, zoom, finger swipe, etc.,. and communicate the same to the Linux software over wifi.

You may also be required to setup the Linux to work with a GPS receiver and another microcontroller.

User interface of IOS and Android apps must be developed to my taste and may have other features such as reading smartphone's GPS and magnetometer, implement a settings and about sections, etc.,.

You are also required to help train one of my qualified employee in the project so that I can further maintain the software myself, especially the Linux part, and also help me setup my app in Google and Apple store.

I am only looking for developer(s), who will work at my office location in New Delhi (Dwaraka), all development tools and resources will be provided by me.
