The idea of a project is an augmented reality game – 3D first person shooter.
A gameplay is following: a user aims an objective of a smartphone camera device on any object of the real world. And a picture from a camera device appears on a screen. Then some characters appear in a game world in different positions. They begin to shoot in main character. The user begin to rotate his smartphone and if camera devices directed on a position of any character then character appears on a screen with a picture from the camera device as background. So the picture from a camera device plays role of a background picture for a game world. The user should shoot any characters of the game world and collect some objects.
A developer must develop 20 levels of the game according to a level description that will be provided.
A game menu must be developed as well. The integration with high scores system Openfeint must be developed too.
In the game must be used “send/share via” service.
The game engine – Shiva 3D.
The developer must provide a project plan.
The developer must provide intermediate tests – demonstration of the game to the customer and demonstration of a programming code.
3D models will be added in the game separately, but the developer must make easy model importing system.
FPS of the game must be not below 50 with 20 rendered 3d-models (characters) with not lower than 3000 polygons on Tegra2 based devices or the same performance.
The main platform – Android.
