Project Description

If you plug a USB on the go adapter to a high end device, like Samsung S3, you can detect multiple devices at the same time (USB flash drive, keyboard, etc). This is because the android and firmware cooperate to understand the attached device, and may include drivers for it.

However, we wish to do this on the Rockchip Pipo S3 and it is not possible right now. As far as we know, they use a closed modified version of android for Rockchip. It is possible they also specifically disabled the USB hub to prevent device overload, or simply neglected the drivers.

If you can solve this challenge and we verify it, we will pay you a one time reward-fee.

As an alternative you can suggest a usb hub that doesnt need driver that will work, or a similar tablet to Pipo S3 that does not cost as much, but lower the reward amount for these solutions.
