Convert and improve existing scene from Maya to 3dsMax to be rendered in Mental Ray. The Maya scene contains a fictional 3D Research Facility in an underwater environment with fog, particles, fake caustics and volumetric lights that need to be converted to 3DsMax.
Import Maya file into 3DsMax
Lights, Polys and UV are clean for rendering, and that materials are applied correctly
Fog representing water is at correct opacity.
Animated volumetric lights representing sunlight are cycling through animation correctly
Fake caustics on horizontal surfaces are animated correctly
Dynamic Particle cloud representing floating plankton are animating correctly and being illuminated by volumetric lights.

One note about the Maya scene, when opening it on your system, you will most likely have to associate the sprites to the included sprite folder (or disable them completely) or it will slow your system.
