Project Description

The Brief

“We are looking for 5-10 seconds of animation that looks cool.

As in 60's genre cool.

That is the first directive.

Secondly, it should be inspired by the following show intros.

1. The Mentalist - [url removed, login to view]

2. The Persuaders

3. Randall & Hopkirk Deceased - [url removed, login to view]

4. Mr Broadway

5. The Cat (at about 4mins) [url removed, login to view]

Please look at the following things on You Tube.

You'll find The Cat and Mr Broadway ; if you look up 10 Rare 'Lost "Classic 60's TV Themes.

You need to be inspired by the colours of "The Cat".

Consider : dark electric blue, white, grey, some black and orange.

The Cat is cool and Mr Broadway works well with the incoming horizontal and vertical lines.

These arrows or lines of black or colours moving in and out, to dissolve the picture and new ones to come in to resolve or present a new picture.

The final image will be an image of me John coming into frame with the words Coronet Blue.

You must however see my face at some point.

“attached is one of the photo's for the Montage intro animation for the website. It could stay as is or made into a cartoon image or silhouette (or all three???)

We would also like to use the photo you manipulated that is in the gallery on the website and possibly another one.

JR will email you the ideas/ inspiration of the ''feel'' of the montage. We would like a combination of Mr Broadway intro, the Mentalist intro, the intro to the Persuaders and The CAT intro . JR will be more specific but they do provide a feel so the animation guy can have show some artistic flare.

Its in a 1960s feel.

We also provided some close ups on the lyrics in the drop box link which could be integrated.”
