Hi, I love computer science and big data. I would be thrilled to do this project and to give you a simple way of looking through your indexed documents. I build websites on a daily basis, I focus mainly on the server side stuff, though I also do some UI. I'll build you a small website so you can query your articles and visualize them in a nice way. I've built several e-commerce websites with similar needs, though I've mainly used Postgre's JSONB datatype so I can get the best of both worlds in my apps (relational and NoSQL); I also have experience with Apache Solr, which i believe is a nifty data store. I already have lots of code and HTML I can reuse, and tons of experience, so I can finish the job very quickly. I assure you a top quality solution, so pick me ;D P.S. If you also need a way of uploading data to Solr tell me and I'll include it in the website. BTW I'll need to know the general structure of your articles. Please contact me if you have anything else in mind and I'll try my best to implement it. Cheers!

Hi Sir, I am excite to be a part of this project. I have done a similar project in past( mentioned in my freelancer profile) where I have done similar work using elastic search, I am comfortable with solr as well . In past I have made search where approx 23,000 records were present and the response time for a search on index filed was 2.56 seconds average. My personal opinion is that Elastic search is better than solr and has wider community support. Feel free to talk to me regarding. It doesn't matter if I get this project but I would suggest you to go with Elastic Search + node.js instead of solr and other platform. Happy coding Thanks you,

Hi, I can provide you with a blazing fast search functionality using Apache Solr. A few things about Apache Solr: 1) Apache Solr is an open-source tool and is totally free. 2) Solr runs as a server(supports both stand-alone mode as well as clustered mode). 3) Solr exposes a REST API which we can use for search/auto-suggest/indexing. 4) Solr also has a java client called as "SolrJ". Instead of using the REST API, we can use this java client as well. 4) I think the terms "search" and "auto-suggest" mentioned in the above point are self explanatory. In lay man terms, "indexing" means adding data to the Solr server. And this indexing is the major development effort as we would need to aggregate all your data and push it to Solr. This process would happen inside a job (which we can call as Indexing Job). My experience with Solr: I have done one full end-to-end Solr implementation in one of my previous organizations. While doing this Solr implementation, to meet certain custom requirements, I also modified the Solr source code. Best Regards, expertde
