Project Description

Do you like Fantasy Books? Do names like Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin, Steven Erickson, Glen Cook, Robin Hobb, Brandon Sanderson, Roger Zelazy, and Gene Wolf ring a bell? Do you spend some of your spare time reading and posting on fantasy forums? Do you hit up the local bookstore once every couple weeks to check out the new fantasy book releases?

If so, then THIS is the job for you!

If you're passionate about the fantasy genre, then you'll love this position! You're job will be to write up Author Bio's for the most popular fantasy book authors. You'll have need to read a lot of fantasy books or actively be reading them to qualify for this job. And it goes without saying you'll need to be passionate about fantasy books in general.

I'd like the top 50-100 author pages written. Writers like George R.R. Martin, Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, etc.

These sections will consist of

*Short Author Intro/Biography 200-300 words (something along lines of these:

I'm not just looking for a fantasy fan to toss out some hastily written reviews -- I want quality, entertaining, informative, and honest reviews by people who are passionate about the subject!

Payment to be $4 per article with the project to be at least 50 of the top authors and maybe 100-200!

*Do research

*Be able to write quality, informative, honest, and ENTERTAINING biographies. If you've got some personality to your writing, AWESOME. I'm not looking for dry, stilted, boring prose. You're passion for the subject should come through your writing.

*Write completely unique content. I will check each article to make sure it passes Copyscape. If the article is not 100% unique, I won't accept the articles. So don't be one of THOSE kind of writers folks.

*Write me 150 words (one paragraph), listing (and explaining) your TOP 5 favorite fantasy books.

*Write 100 words (second paragraph) telling me why you are suitable for this job and your personal experiences with fantasy books.

*Send me any previous reviews you've written or previous work

*You must be a native born speaker of English. Sorry, no Africans, Indians, Filipinos, or anyone born OUTSIDE of Canada, US, AUS, and the UK. Don't apply for this job or send me a message because you WON'T BE HIRED, sorry.

*You will need to complete a three article PAID TRIAL. These will show me if you are suitable (or not) for the position. These will be three 1000 word book reviews that will show whether you are suitable for the job or not. The trial articles will be paid at 5 dollars per 1000 word article (you will write three of them). If the work is great, then I'll hire you for the full position and you're rate will be raised to $[url removed, login to view] per 500 words as the starting wage.

NOTE: don't apply if you are unwilling to SEND ME A MESSAGE as directed above and if you are unwilling to write the paid trial articles. You won't even be considered for the position.
