We are a media agency currently looking for talented freelancers to handle regular jobs in design and copy writing.

We require text for a company profile for a restaurant. The story should twelve into the origins of the halabi cuisine, and put the restaurant forward as a reference for Halabi cuisine in Dubai. The copy should reference unique aspects of halabi food and give a feel of what it is that makes it so unique, and of course present the restaurant as a Mecca of Halabi cuisine.

The Halabi culture places a very strong emphasis on the sharing of food.

The restaurant experience goes further than simply food as it is a place of discussion, relaxation, people will have Shisha and stay for hours.

The owner wants to use it to contact malls in Dubai and get space for a new restaurant. He would probably also use it in case he needs investors for this specific venture.

The candidate has to display knowledge of the Halabi cuisine (whether native or acquired through research), the ideal candidate could later also translate it into Arabic and give us an Arabic sample. We can however use someone else for the translation.

This tradition started when the Silk Road would pass through Aleppo, adding spices from India and China to the local flavors and Creating new culinary challenges year to year, generation by generation. This is why Halabi cuisine fits all tastes as it contains elements from all other western and eastern cuisines.
It is no wonder then that Halabi cuisine won the 1st place in Unicef’s Traditional Kitchen Award.


The story of RESTAURANT started in the Halabi lands. Founded by GRANDFATHER, RESTAURANT comes from the Halabi culinary tradition, a passion the RESTAURANT OWNER family passed from grandfather to father and from father to son.
With decades of success, millions of meals and shared moments, it became an imperative for RESTAURANT OWNER to share the RESTAURANT recipes with the world.

Modernizing RESTAURANT while keeping its Halabi core and transposing it to Dubai, RESTAURANT OWNER took the best out of the multinational rooted Halabi cuisine and turned it into a success to the delight of Dubai’s global expatriates and locals.
