Project Description

Do you like Science Fiction Books? I don’t just mean heard of. Do you read science fiction books on a regular basis? Do names like Alfred Bester, Roger Zelazny, Neal Stephenson, Dan Simmons, Tad William, Isaac Asimov, Gene Wolf, Frank Herbert, Peter Hamilton, and James Corey ring a bell?

Do you spend some of your spare time reading sci-fi blogs and posting on science fiction book forums?

Do you hit up the local bookstore once every couple weeks to check out the new science fiction and fantasy book releases?

If so, then THIS is the job for you!

THE JOB

If you're passionate about the science fiction and reading, then you'll love this job! Your job will be to help write a number of detailed science fiction book recommendation lists.

We are talking book lists with the titles like “Best Science Fiction Books”, “Best Hard Science Fiction Out there”, ‘Best Cyperbunk Books’.
The project will entail 10 or so lists for now, each containing 10-25 or so ranked recommendations.

You’ll need to write between 100-300 words per recommendation in a witty, sarcastic, and entertaining style. You’ll need to convince the read WHY the book is ranked on the list and why it’s considered one of the best books in the genre. Of course, you’ll also NEED to really know what you’re are talking about.

Some examples of what sort of lists /writing I’m expecting you to do:
