Project For Writers
Very simple project. You will be assigned articles. An experienced writer can put a fully polished article within only 20 minutes! Average article is 600-800 words in length. Some however are as low as 300-500 words for our mini sites.
THE GREAT THING IS...If lets say you do a 750 word article in 30 minutes you are paid for the full hour! Although I also will not pay for any revisions so make sure you follow the guidelines below. I do not expect perfection but proper English should be used.
Articles will be expected to be written (MAX LENGTH) within the given time frames listed below. If you can not achieve this do not bother applying. Personally I can do most of these in half the time I am allowing so there is no excuse why it should take longer.
1-599 words...........30-45 minutes
600-799 words........1 hour
800-1000 words......1.5 hours
1200-1500 words......2 hours

Three writer samples with your name in the byline will be required. These must be already published articles, that we can review to see your writing style.
Max hourly rate is 4.00 per hour, any bids higher than this will be automatically rejected. Remember Lowest bid does not always win, I will be reviewing tests taken and other qualifications.
Everyone comes to a website to solve some form of problem or for entertainment. You should always ask yourself WHY and WHAT brought them to the page you are writing. That article must provide enough information to adequately answer the questions that landed them on our page. This is absolutely key when doing any writing for us, otherwise why write it at all. This should be common knowledge although you would be amazed at the amount of people who do not take this into consideration.
No less than 4 full length sentences in the introduction paragraph.
No, Fluff! Do not add in a bunch of filler words. This means avoid using non-descriptive adjectives.
Do not use passive voice, any use of this will get the article sent back for revision. Only one revision is allowed per article to fix any issues it may have.
Must have at least 1 sub header per 400 words. Does not have to be exact but this is required. Primary keyword phrase must be used in one of the sub headers.
Proper spelling and grammar must be used at all times. Go to [url removed, login to view] and run a general check for free. If the score is not above a 60 the article will be automatically rejected. This is an easy check to ensure you meet our most basic of grammar before human eyes even see it. Note editors your requirements are much higher.

NO PLAGIARIZED CONTENT! We require 97% originality to allow for commonly used phrases it should clear copyscape without any hits to a website showing [url removed, login to view] not post any article written anywhere else on the internet, not even your own blog.
No inappropriate language, slag or other terminology which could offend/confuse someone.
Any Citations are to be marked with a simple (1) etc then cited at the bottom of each article. This includes photo descriptions which also should be located at the bottom of each article.
This should be a given although recently there have been problems with multiple contributors regarding the length of sentences. Make sure you be cautious not to make sentences too long or short. No one wants to read a paragraph long sentence.
The job will be anywhere from 3-10 hours per week. This could increase up to even full time if the accepted person would like to, or maintain part time. Either way there is plenty of room for growth.
