Development of an internet audio player based on the Microsoft Windows Media Player. Support for aacPlus V2 codec, database links/development, track titling XML? samples will be provided for development. Development includes: Custom graphic skin and JScript application development. Player download not to exceed 3MB Content window should be able to display HTML and Flash content, and able to play back aacPlus v2 encoded files through links in content window (for on-demand programming) Read and display metadata in audio stream including: View 10 previously played tracks View current song and artist
View current channel or audio station Basic functionality (volume, start, stop, etc.) Display user comments from a web based XML file Able to execute HTTP requests for : loading ads into display window (contained in metadata) for logging player stats to a server (contained in metadata) transferring invite/??send to a friend?? emails transferring user registration information transferring user comments transferring user ratings Player must be “skinnable?? for maximum flexibility for CLIENT to change the “look and feel?? based on client needs Ability to auto-update Registration form upon installation which prompts for basic demographic information (gender, age, etc.) Player must be able to generate a unique ID to identify the player

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
