Need a voip expert for assistance.
I have to terminate incoming voip calls to the PSTN network. I don't have a technical platform and am not a programmer. I'd like advice on what is the most efficient way to proceed: assembling or buying a voip server and terminating the traffic through a telecom/voip terminator or using a hosted softswitch service that takes care of it like kayote.com. What are the advantages of each, which would be cheaper, which would be more efficient.
I also need a small custom software that generates calls to a specific list of numbers and sends them to a voip terminator (could be the same one that we send the previous traffic to) for them to terminate on the Pstn network. These would be test calls answered by an Ivr, to test the machine that answers the call. With that in mind what would be the best way to proceed, doing only the second part in-house or doing both?
