Project Description

I need someone to do a very specif recording in a northern Irish accent. This is part of an arts project aimed at highlighting how a piece of work (Bruce Springsteen's 'I'm on fire' in this instance) can sound relatively innocuous in one context, but very dark and sinister in another.

The precise requirement is:

Speak the words in the song (as posted below) fairly slowly and deliberately in a hard Northern Irish accent. The aim is to make them sound as sinister as possible with hidden meaning. Be creative in the delivery, but don't go over the top though, it is not meant to be comedic.

There must be no discernible background noise.

The lyrics must be spoken, with no musical accompaniment.

Recording must be a good quality WAV file.

A short sample file of a couple of lines from the song in the manner described above will greatly increase your chances of being accepted.

The lyrics are as follows:

Hey little girl is your daddy home
Did he go away and leave you all alone
I got a bad desire
Im on fire

Tell me now baby is he good to you
Can he do to you the things that I do
I can take you higher
Im on fire

Sometimes it's like someone took a knife baby
Edgy and dull and cut a six-inch valley
Through the middle of my soul

At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the
Middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Im on fire
