i am looking for someone who can produce some 2d architectural developmental drawings,
I have produced a 3d concept train station model in 3ds max and have also produced the working drawings for the model but i need to reverse engineer the drawings to produce architectural development drawings.
Hope this makes sense.
? i have Picked a portion of the project for development. This consists of three adjacent internal spaces (one of which is the entrance space), plus an external space directly related to these internal spaces. Draw these at 1:50 as Plans, Section and Elevations. These should be beautiful drawings of your original scheme.
? Draw at 1:200 the ordering principles for the plans. These drawings might need to show the entire scheme to adequately demonstrate these principles as context and action. Draw at 1:50 the ordering principles for the spatial and structural order. These drawings should include plan, section, and elevation.
? Consider and redraw the previous 1:50 productions with refinements and developments. These should be quite beautiful and informative drawings that carry the character of the order you wish the project to embody and express. This is serious design.
? Now add the developing spatial, material, and structural articulation of the project. Again this is at 1:50, although some may feel the need to look at some aspects (and design intentions) at 1:20.
? Draw the latest iteration of the plan (at least) at 1:20 with commensurate accuracy and detail. This will require you to think about the junctions and see how the drawing represents your design intentions. At this scale we should see clearly how the material of the building actually makes the space. At 1:20 you can’t draw the space – you have to draw the building bits. There is no hiding at this scale. (But, there is no hiding at 1:1, anyhow.) also include this detail into section and internal elevation. Again, this work is to be at 1:20.
? concentrate on elevational composition. You will need to go back to the external elevations of the project, and compose them with the developed knowledge from the plans and sections. This will involve consideration of the order, structure and materials. Fenestration will now become very important. This can be done at 1:50, and the plans should be adjusted to suit.
? concentrate on elevational development at 1:20. This should involve selected internal and external elevations. These drawings need to have a sense of resolution about them.
? With this sense of resolution coming into play the total project should now be put back together. This should involve plan, section, and elevations at 1:20. Some special details might also be developed. Details such as wall to floor, wall to ceiling, wall to roof, window to wall, door to wall, for example.
? Remember that these are developmental drawings. There is considerable integration required to get these elements to now work together, as well as to ensure that the design order is evident and active. allow the scheme’s order and material intentions to be presented, and for you to consider what this process has done to both the scheme, and your design sensibilities. These drawings of the scheme, as it now stands, should be at 1:200, 1:50, and 1:20. We imagine that some of these drawings will be quite beautiful.
