We are building a new modern double story home in Queensland Australia.
The land is 1070m2 (quarter acre) and has a rather steep slope. The land is on a lookout so we want to take advantage of the view.
I have drafted some very simple floor plans (double story) by hand on a notebook with a scale of 1cm = 1meter. The floor plan of each level is 20 meters x 20 meters. (See attached)
We also have the soil test results, council land dimensions and slope gradient.
My requirements are as follows:
1) Evaluate the floor plans and let us know if they will work on the land we have especially given the slope and meet Queensland building standards. We created the plans believing that the left side of the house will receive the 'north sunlight'. You will need to use (Google?) maps to determine if we are correct and modify as required.
2) Create Revit home & floor plans based on the floor plans I have drafted, including the Garage, porch and balconies. However the plans should be modified to work on the land/slope per step 1. Also the draft floor plans I drafted are very bare without doors and basic fitting and fixtures which are to be included in the Revit design. Also we would like to see how the house fits in relation to the land. We were thinking the house goes in the back top right corner with 5meters gap between the home and the fence. But we would like to see how much room this leaves us on the left side of the house and front.
