Project Description

We would like a downloadable radio player that uses the peercast code (open source)

The situation at present for the user:

- they have to download and install peercast

- they have to download and install winamp

- they have to download and install the MP3pro plugin for winamp

- they then have to look up a station in the peercast yellow pages

- they click the station's play button and the peercast will make connection to the [url removed, login to view] file

- Winamp will play the station (media player can' t read the file, and real player can but does not have a MP3pro plugin possibility)

Apart from the player to be easy to install, we want to have one install file for all the necesary elements

-peercast should have the brazuca logo in the system tray

About

help (on the brazuca website)

popup messages

advanced not visible

with options: choose from multiple streams and multiple bandwidths (28 k, 56k, 128k)

go to brazuca website

-the player should automatically open real player or WinAMP depending on user preference, prefered is an integrated player that is installed with the peercast

-listener should be able to choose from multiple streams ( [url removed, login to view], brazuca hit radio, radio latina uk etc) and multiple bandwidths (28 k, 56k, 128k)

The link is in the form of

What changes do we want in the peercast tool:

- Installing the peercast tool should be easy

When started it appears in the tray, and we want it to start up with windows start up

To make the radio play one need to look up a station in the yellow pages and then press the link.

Peercast will then load the signal

Left click

Yellow pages this goes automatically to [url removed, login to view]

We do not want this, here should our stations be listed.

Possibily we can start up peercast by a button in the toolbar

The standard peercast has the following functionality as pop ups right click

About - should give our details not the peercast one

Help - goes to [url removed, login to view] this should go to ours

Popupmessages - stays un altered

Advanced - should be disabled as this is the broadcasting tool, however peercast should automatically distribute the brazuca channels ( these will be three in the future) also the upgrade alert should be disabled, and our own should be put in place

Exit - should stay

Please mention if you could not do it for the price as mentioned in the specs, tell us the price you can do it for.
