We need a Windows 7 driver written or modified from a working Windows XP driver. This driver is for communications with a small x-ray device and was custom written by Lunar Corp. I have a working system that can be shipped for testing. Prefer the US as we are in Madison, WI.
I do not have the code, but do have the complete installation software and multiple working systems. I am told it is very simple stuff. I would be happy with a work-around - we just can't be stranded on Windows XP anymore.
I have attached files associated with the working Windows XP USB driver. It shows up as Pixi Usb Device in the USB section of the Device Manager. Windows 7 says it is incompatible.
I just posted pixiusb.inf which was hidden in Windows. Thanks to "lanthan" for requesting this key file.
This driver nearly loads. When the device is plugged in, and Unknown Device is added to the Device Manager. I can direct the wizard to the the INF and other USB files, but they do not load. I tried to Update the Unknown Device, pointed to the files, and Windows read the files, but found "The required line was not found in the INF." Hopefully this means a simple project...
