Project Description

My client operates a "weekend market" where stall-holders can come and sell their goods.

The focus of the market alternates from being either

1. "Fashion, Art and Design" OR

2. "General Markets"

A simple Android and iPhone calendar App is required to provide stall-holders with visibility (+ count-down timer) of when the next market is scheduled. The following functionality:

- Countdown timer to the next market

- Integrated with iPhone/Android Calendar app (upon request, insert an Event with an alert)

- Data feed from existing website content ( [url removed, login to view]) that includes

--- Market information (name, date, time)

--- Map

--- General information

- Facebook “Like” button

Refer attached image.

Note the App is likely to be expanded in future to include additional functionality. The frame-work for the logic should be structured to allow this. More details about this will be discussed with the successful bidder.

Skills required include

- Programming for both Android and iOS. This could be done on a cross-platform SDK such as Corona

- Graphic Design work

Please quote for graphic design work separately to programming work as my client may have some graphic design elements already available. Your quote should include indication of duration (development effort) and approximate delivery time. Budget is very limited - I encourage you to follow the guideline outlined with this project posting.

PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this project today, but have plans to travel for the next two weeks and will not be contactable until the week beginning the 18th of February. Apologies in advance but I'd like to award the project and kick it off as soon as possible upon my return.

Many thanks.
