I need someone to make a dynamic venn diagramming application that will allow a user to overlay two identical circles in a venn-diagram (however they want). I want the application to calculate the total area of the overlap between the two circles as they are moved around by the user. So, for example, in the context of a survey question I could say, "this circle represents Apples and this circle represents Oranges, show how biologically similar you think the two fruits are by overlapping the circles to show their similarity". Ideally, the two circles would move only along a horizontal plane and they would be slightly gray so that someone could easily distinguish how much overlap occurs between the two circles with their eye alone. I want to be able to embed this type of question as a link or a widget into a computer based survey in Qualtrics. I want the total overlap to be calculated and automatically exported to an excel spreadsheet, ideally in the form of a percent overlap running from [url removed, login to view]% - [url removed, login to view]%. Not sure if this is possible, but that is my request. If you are interested let me know and I will send more details.
Look at this link and then imagine writing the code so that this venn diagram manipulative fulfilled the criteria laid out above:
