I am working with medical images from cone beam CT scanner.
I acquired cone beam scan of a phantom and reconstructed the images using Matlab.
The image quality of those reconstructed images is not up to standard i.e., not satisfactory for diagnostic quality.
So, I want to develop a software filter (2D or 3D) that removes the streaks, rings and other artefacts seen on the images.
This will help to improve the image contrast and the resolution and hence results in more reliable information.
This is purely a research-based medical project and hence of more clinical value.
I would like to hire a person who has some knowledge about medical images, sound knowledge in biomedical engineering, image processing, software developing etc.Get free quotes for a project like this
