I am a freelance reporter (journalist) looking to create a program that will allow me to record a phone interview/conversation.
Currently, there is no software or applications on the market for iPhone users, which is why I am looking to get it made. The closest thing available for my profession is the ability to dial an international phone number and then dial the interviewee in order to ascertain the required information. Or, I buy a cheap mobile phone from five years ago, which has the functionality.
In its most simplest terms, I want to be able to press a button to record, pause and stop a recording. I want to also be able to play the audio back, and upload via wi-if to a network, so that i can edit and distribute. If possible, I would like it to be integrated into the iPhone's call screen, requiring me only yo look at the screen and press a button or two. Full details and specifications will be provided upon landing the job.
I will hold all copyright and trademark over the app/program, including, but not limited to: all images, graphics and coding. It is not an option at this stage to put it onto iTunes/cydia, but I may do so, and I will hold 100% of all rights. The winning bidder will not have any right to profits, but may be held responsible for any major problems that could occur.
I also understand that I must have the interviewee's permission to record, and that based on jurisdiction and copyright laws in certain regions/states/countries, i may not be allowed to. That is why I would like a disclaimer message played to the interviewee after pressing the "record" button and them to press "1" to agree or "2" to disagree.
This app may also involve reworking part of Apple's Software Development Kit (SDK)
Bid accordingly, and full details will be given to the winner.
