We have polish format (MP) maps ( about 500MB) and therefore the software should be able to read them. ( we will provided you a sample map for testing)
The hardware devices (PND) is a commonly available Chinese PND devices. if you have specific hardware requirements we are bit flexible ( we will provide you a sample of the hardware)
also software activation need to be done with a license key and we should be able to generate different license keys for each PND.

we need to use this software without any hindrance from 3rd party IP Rights.
If you use any IP from a 3rd party you have to disclose it before the payment. So our lawyers can look in to the legal aspects. Failing to disclose such information is considered as direct violation of the contract agreement.
we should have the ownership of the software ( not the licenses)
after completion of the project you should send us the sample hardware with a trial software version( you can put a time limit 14 days) for testing. We will test the software and if we are satisfy we will accept it (within 2 weeks after we received the trial software) . If not we will provide you a documentation (within 4 weeks after we received the trial software) stating the shortcoming of the software and you have to fix these shortcomings (time duration – negotiable).
Acceptance criteria of the software is same as the project description and we will put this in the contract agreement.

we can only do the milestone payments and in this project the one and only milestone is the successful completion of the project ( the reason is that we don't have any use in incomplete software ( even its 90% complete). But , the contract signing we will make the full payment to freelance website, so you will know that the funds are available. But you will only receive the money after the successful completion of the project.

With the payment you should sent us

(2)license generating software
(3)all the source code
(4)documentation (citing any open source or propitiatory codes you used )
(5)if you use any propitiatory codes we need copies of the documentation showing that we have licenses to use them. In this case, we should not have any hindrance from these 3rd party IP rights ( this includes but not limited to selling , licensing or , leasing the software)

also we expect 60 day free technical support after delivering the software.
