2 Scripts for database analysis

We are looking for a company / developer to write 2 scripts for us. SCRIPT 1: The first script would perform a series of search on google using a combination of keywords that could be entered in a CSV or comparable sheet. We could have 20 companies and 20 search terms, so that would be 400 (20x20) search total. And the idea would be for the script to spit out the number of search result for each of these combinations. For example we would enter in a CSV file (or whatever is easier) a list of 20 websites (site:[login to view URL], site: [login to view URL], site:[login to view URL], …, …., …, company [login to view URL]) and search term (searchterm1, searchterm2, …, …, …, searchterm20). For each of these we would get the number of google results. The trick is that the answer needs to be double checked, as google has some bugs some time, as is shown in the example below: Search for the following string in google: site:[login to view URL] microarrays It returns 1,590 results,, but if you click all the way to page 50, you’ll see that there actually just 493 results. That’s the number we’re interested in: 493, not 1,590. Note that if we enter 3 columns (or let’s say up to 10) in the CSV document, we would like the script perform a search for all the possible combination. The results should be output in a different CSV (or similar) document. Any document would do, as long as we can easily transfer the data in Excel. SCRIPT 2: We would like to develop a somewhat similar script, but using Pubmed.org. Type “gene expression” in the search box, and select display setting: abstract, 200. Now in this page, we want to know the number of abstracts that has the term XYZ (for example “PCR”). We are NOT interested in the number of times PCR appears on the page, but in the number of abstract that has this term. So if one abstract mentions that terms 10x, it should still be counted as a N = 1. I can provide more details if you mention that you have the expertise. Thanks, Stephane
